Accommodation options for students
You won’t find a more stunning place to study than Champneys. Our Beauty College is set amid the lovely grounds of the exclusive Champneys Health Spa in the charming village of Wigginton, near Tring, Chesham and Berkhamsted. Close to London and easy to access from the Midlands and North, this is the perfect setting in which to gain the skills that will give new life to your career.
Tring, Berkhamsted and Chesham are the nearest towns though a more affordable option is Aylesbury which is 15-20 mins drive from the college. Find out more about living in the area.
We have a small number of places with inclusive accommodation (only available to students over 18 on the Autumn Fast Track course) or you can choose to rent, lodge or commute from home. Below you will find information on the different student accommodation options. To find out more please call us on 01442 291336.
Please note that college accommodation is only available to students studying on the Autumn intake of the Fast Track course who are over the age of 18 when starting the course.
Renting
RENTING
If you want to be a little more independent, there are plenty of homes to rent privately nearby and we can put you in touch with other students to share with so you can support each other and share transport costs.
Lodging
LODGING
We have an established register of private landlords with rooms to rent in the local towns. The details are circulated once we have received a deposit to applicants who have previously requested them. Champneys does not act as a broker or get involved in the contract between a student and a landlord therefore students should ensure they read all agreements thoroughly.
Transport
The nearest train station is Tring, however Berkhamsted station has a taxi rank outside. The cost of a taxi from Berkhamsted station varies – the cheapest is around is £11.00 for a one way journey.
