Part Time Massage

DESCRIPTION:

This is a fast track condensed course which leads to the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapies. Our graduates become employable massage therapists in just 6 months. 

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

Beginning twice a year, our part time courses offer flexibility - great for parents or those with other commitments or anyone wishing to retrain in a range of massage and holistic therapies.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum age of entry is 16 years. there is no maximum age. 

Maturity and experience will be taken into account

CONTENT:

Body Treatments 

• Body Massage
• Aromatherapy using pre-blended oils
• Hot Stone Therapy
• Indian Head Massage
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Lava Shell Massage

Assignments

• Client Care and Communication in the Beauty Related Industries

DELIVERY METHOD

Training consists of class tuition and home study. This consists of 80% practical sessions with 20% theory.

There are 14 hours per week plus home study (2 hrs per night).

ASSESSMENT:

• Multiple-choice papers
• Practical and theory exams 

QUALIFICATION

ITEC L3 Diploma in Massage Therapies 

ITEC L3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapists

Part time 2 days per week 

HOURS:

9.30am - 4.30pm - teaching days are Thursday & Friday plus home study per night
