Our lash and brow courses are ideal for complete beginners through to seasoned beauty and massage professionals. They are ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) Accredited and upon sucessful completion you will be eligible for insurance.

YOUR COURSE TUTOR

This course is taught by Mirka Pittnerova. Mirka is the founder of "Beauty by Mirka" part of Celo Tan & Lash Ltd and will be offering Lash Lift, Brow Lamination, Individual Classic Lash  and Russian Lashes courses at Champneys Beauty College.

Mirka began her beauty therapy career in 2010, opening her own beauty salon with her partner in Windsor, Berkshire only two years later where she worked with many VIP clients.

In 2016 she expanded and opened her own training sites now known as "Beauty by Mirka". Since then she has successfully continued both treating clients and passing on her knowledge and skills to others, is a regular guest speaker at global beauty events, has won many awards both in the UK and internationally and has featured in the Lash Inc Italia magazine, Fleek magazine, Lash-Ed magazine, OK magazine and in the London Business Magazine.

Throughout your course, and beyond, Mirka will share all her tips and tricks that she has learnt and perfected over the past 13 years in the beauty industry.

COURSE CONTENT

 

Russian volume is one of the most popular treatments when it comes to eyelash extensions. You can create full look for a client that has sparse lashes.

 

People often struggle trying to create a Russian volume fan. We have all been there it is frustrating when you don’t know what you are doing wrong!

 

Therapists are making the same mistakes without realising it isn’t their fault, and in the end they often give up. It is not the therapists fault - when you are working with the wrong equipment the struggle in creating the perfect volume fan is real!

Some of those mistakes which we will remedy with you are:

• Position of fingers
• Grip on tweezers
• Lash placement
• Volume of lashes
• Lash length
• Lash thickness
• Creating Russian volume fan
• Correct way of picking up your fan
• And much more!

We will teach you how to create the perfect Russian volume fans and how to create the perfect lash set for your clients.

PRE-REQUISITES

Therapists will need to be qualified in using Classic Individiual Lashes. 

 

DELIVERY METHOD

Pre-Course Theory: Theory is delivered 100% online - prior to attending the college and you will complete this in your own time at home (this should take a day and needs to be completed before the practical training). You will be contacted 48hours after enrolling with log-in details for the Beauty by Mirka online learning portal - the online learning includes written text, photos and videos (acccess only available once full payment is received)

Practical Session: This part of the course is delivered in person at Champneys Beauty College. We will show you all the techniques and procedures needed to produce beautiful lashes safely and confidently.

Starter Kit

You will require one of our starter kits to take part in the course. These are paid for on enrolment and will be ordered for you 2 weeks prior to the start of the course. **Your must bring your kit to the practical session.**

Model for the Day

You will be required to bring your own model to work on for the practical session.  Arrival times for models will be confirmed. Models must be aged 16 or over.

Homework 

After the practical session you will need to complete 3 case studies in your own time.

Case studies must be sent one at a time for marking. We will give you detailed feedback about your work and help you to achieve better results (if needed) for your next model. 

Once our required standards are reached with your case studies you will become ABT accredited & Fully Insurable.
