I've done my exams. How do I follow my dream of a career in beauty

So it’s that time of year again, the one that every student both dreads and looks forward to with anticipation.

Waiting for exam results can take its toll; you think you know how you did one minute but the next you really can’t be sure.

Once you have your results in, whether you get the grades you wanted or not, you have the daunting decision of what to do next.  It can be very easy to fall into the academic route of A levels, college and university but how do you guarantee you will end up with a job and lifestyle that you really love?

For many of you the academic route is what you’ve planned and it’s the right choice for you.  However, for some it may not be. It’s important to end up doing what you will enjoy not just what you are capable of.

Young girls these days spend hours doing their make-up and beauty routine – it’s become a real hobby for many. If this is you have you thought of making your hobby into a career?  If you love beauty and get the right qualifications it can open so many amazing doors for you.

You could choose any route from a secure employed job in a spa hotel, opening your own business and working for yourself, or even travelling the world on a cruise ship… the options are endless!

Here at Champneys Beauty College we run an 18 month diploma course that will give you a raft of internationally recognised qualifications while meeting the requirement for GCSE school leavers to stay in education till they are 18. Once qualified you will leave with all the skills and knowledge you need to be able to choose from any of the above careers.

Run as a part time course over 3 days a week, you still have the flexibility to be able to work elsewhere if needed, so no need to be a broke student.
